The Garden was full of discarded furniture, boards, doors and overun with brambles and skanky looking shrubs, all in the skip too. What's left is massive slabs of very hard concrete, the building material of choice for Victorian South Londoners.
Next job is to sort the fence out. The gardens are terraced and over the years the posts at the back have started to succumb to the effects of gravity, and begun a journey into the house at the backs kitchen.
This all needs doing, pointing, all the pipework replacing and all the sash windows renovating. You can just make out Bunty and Carys pulling faces in the top window, which by the way, has fantastic views of the Canary Wharf and the Millennium Dome.
