Exploring by Tom Tom

Went south to Nicoteria, which was a picturesque and historical hill town.  It had lots of ginnels and alleyways.  It had views over the plains of Gioica, and its massive beach.

Tom Tom found a great little beach between there and Pizzo (spiaggia di Santa Maria with the big boobies), where we beachcombed and fished, more success with the former than the latter.  Later we watched Spurs knock Milan out of the Champions League, great to watch and read the post match anaylsis.  Milan haven’t won a game in the UK for 10 years, they’ve been knocked out of the last 8 in this competition 3 times in the last 4 years by the Inglesis (all splendid stuff).

Today, the 10th March we went to a parco archiologico, i.e. somewhere you pay to get into that has a few holes dug in the ground, called Locri.  It had a connection to a battle that went on in the hills above involving Spartacus.
